What goes into a car service quote?
The cost of a private car service depends on a handful of things you can describe in one message. Here is what they are and how to get an accurate quote the first time.

The short answer
A car service quote is built from six things: how far you are going, when you are going, which vehicle you need, how many stops you make, the tolls and fees along the route, and whether the driver waits for you. Change any one and the quote changes. That is why we do not publish a price list. A fair number has to come from your actual trip.
1. Distance and route
The biggest factor is where the ride starts and ends. A trip from Villanova to Philadelphia International Airport is a very different job from a trip to Newark or JFK, which crosses New Jersey and takes the driver and vehicle out of the area for many hours. Exact addresses give the most accurate quote. A town and an airport are enough to start.
2. Date and time
When you travel matters. A 4 am airport run, a Friday at rush hour and a holiday weekend all put different demands on a driver's schedule. Tell us the date and the pickup time you want. For a flight, include the flight number and whether it is a departure or an arrival.
3. Vehicle and passengers
A sedan suits one or two travelers. An SUV suits three to five, or fewer people with a lot of luggage. Groups larger than five need more planning. The number of passengers and bags decides the vehicle, and the vehicle is part of the quote.
4. Point to point or hourly
There are two ways to book. A point-to-point ride is quoted as one trip from A to B. An hourly booking keeps the driver with you for a set time, which makes sense for a day of meetings, a night with several stops or an event with no fixed end. If you are not sure which fits, describe the plan and ask us.
5. Tolls, parking and airport fees
Some routes carry costs that others do not. The Pennsylvania Turnpike, the New Jersey Turnpike and the bridges into New York are tolled. Stadiums and airports can charge for parking or access. Ask any car service whether its quote includes these, so you can compare like with like.
6. Waiting and extra stops
Picking up a colleague on the way, stopping at a pharmacy or asking the driver to wait while you are at dinner all add time. Mention them up front. A quote that already includes your stops is better than a surprise later.

Common questions
Why do you not list prices on your website?
Because a real price depends on your route, time, vehicle and stops. A list would be wrong for most trips, so we quote each ride individually.
Can I ask for a quote by text message?
Yes. Text your trip details to (484) 999-1964, or call or use the request form.
How do I get the most accurate quote?
Give exact pickup and drop-off addresses, the date and time, the number of passengers and bags, and any stops. For airport rides, add the flight number.
